Objectives

Article 3 Objectives

1. The Foundation seeks to increase knowledge about mental illness, to reduce discrimination against those suffering from it and to promote fair and ethical treatment in the health care system.
2. The Foundation intends to promote individuals, associations as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations that have excelled in their application of principles of human rights and ethics in psychiatry.
3. The Foundation also aims to create and provide an award called the "Prize of Geneva".
